So it has nothing to do with Carr's obvious knowledge of the country, league, players, teams etc.

Nothing to do with the fact there is quality players there, or because its one of very few leagues left where you can get good value.

We have signed French players this year because Ashley owns 3 shops there.

    Ok. <ok>

Sports Direct also have presence in many European countries.

To say he's buying in France only to enhance Sports Direct in that country is strange.

As I keep saying, he's spent £250 million to date on NUFC and that spent solely on SD alone would return better value and returns.

Why not Belgium? Why not the Netherlands? Why not other countries where sports retail sales are not so competitive and players are cheaper such as Eastern Europe?

Warnock on holiday. He seems like the sort of guy who'd go to Belgium.

Hmm ... not very well thought through i'm afraid. Ask yourself this - how do we feel about clubs that buy our best players?

Answer - we don't like them (Bin Dippers, Spuds etc)

Therefore the fans of the clubs we buy from, who are the ones you are suggesting will be influenced by these transactions, are less likely to shop at sports direct for the same reason. The other reasons have been stated already so I won't repeat.

I've heard the figure banded about on here a few times.

Brilliant mate, do you know of any shops in Holland?

Pieters could be a potential good catalyst to build some sales over there and his name has 7 letters in it

The reason they are shopping in France? Probably because French players are unaware of the crap way this club is run.

Not to say you aren't allowed to share your opinion, but this makes for one hilariously depressing read:

Every single post! If that were me, I'd struggle to give a toss about football at all. Chin up buddy, it might not be 95/96 or 02/03 but you can still have a good time talking about our team <ok>.
