Hereford 4.15 ROYAL CLARET e/w @ 20/1 Seven race maiden showed fair form in bumpers, most notably on debut at Ffos Las when 4th behind Just A Thought,Oh Michelle and Tacenda.Showed another glimpse of promise on second hurdles start at Lingfield last December when 4th to Jamie Snowden’s useful mare Kalahari Queen who was runner up in a Newbury grade 2 last time out.Pulled up when last seen but since been given three month break and on nice racing weight of 10st6.This big step up in trip could be the making of her as her dam Kerada was a winner over 3m.
Newcastle 5.40 LEODIS @ 8/1 6yo maiden but only had seven career starts so far and produced best effort to date over today’s c/d two starts back when close up 3rd behind Apalis(won last three)and Thank You Very Much(won last time).Been dropped a further 1lb to mark of 55 for that effort and trainer Tom Tate has a decent strike rate here(17.39%).The Shirocco gelding gets plenty of weight from the more fancied runners.
To avoid explicit aftertiming, I'll just say that a double of mine has already come in today but nobody needs to know after the event which horses. I do have an outstanding flutter on Jimmy Bell in the 16:45. I had presumed the horse was named after the infamous kitman but it's probably named after a member of the owner's family.
Have one more go till the aw championships and weekend racing 4.30 Luath 12/1 Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk
Welcome Soviet Song and well done on that pick at Hereford. The winner got absolutely mullered by a faller and brought to a standstill 4 out. Would have won with plenty in hand had that not happened. Worth seeing what additional burden the handicapper dishes out nto.
Lol i'm a dickhead, mate text me saying Ruth's Carr horse in 8 40 expected to win, didn't realise there was another one in the race ffs thought only Mardy Gras the 40/1 thing, but the 8/1 other one wins, slag
Excellent call and analysis! P.S. screw you for beating my Sahara Haze into 2nd @ the 28/1 i got just kidding welcome to the forum mate!
Not a complete waste of time. Hammer Gun and Holiday Magic 1st and 2nd, Mister Music NR, Spare Parts last and Volatile 4th
Hope that's in reference to your mate and note dear Ruth! As an aside, Barry McHugh has seemed to strike up a really good partnership there lately. Fair play to him, even if he does sound like a Trumpton character.
Definitely not just meant what a slag as in what a ****er like typical i was mega busy @ work so just quickly skimmed saw it bet it posted it here then didn't even notice there was another runner of hers until i saw the result and he then text me saying did ya get on he should have told me the name! Love Ruth, excellent trainer and even more so after Bobby Joe Legg 50/1 last year Yeh McHugh is very under rated. I'm thinking of just buying £510's worth of some horse with Ruth Carr called Tadaany for 7 months ownership, through the people i'm with at the moment with Foxy Boy, as wouldn't mind part of a horse trained by Ruth, think there's an open day visit on the 7th april too
