So the bond scheme has been a success, at least as far as in getting the funds in. Hopefully Webber, Farke and co will see to being spent wisely to future proof our self funding ways. I can't help but think that we will end up hamstringing ourselves if/next time we get promoted if we are going to pay it all back with a bonus, however with Webber maybe we will bounce back from the relegation better? And to be honest, nor do the fans. With Russia and Quatar, the only way things will change is if England fans don't travel (they rely on that because we spend so much more, and in such numbers, but also always follow the team.) Also, if TV views going drastically down. I am a football fan, World Cup and Euros are key things I look forward to. When the World Cup and Euros are on, would I not watch a single game? Out of protest? I don't think so. I would still watch I think. Because it's a major tournament, and it's football. That is how they get away with it, and why they aren't worried in any way.
