Did his players also harangue the referee until he agreed to pick up the ball and carry it in to the opposition net?
I reckon that was when I was watching Wealdstone! Big rivals were all those teams that have gradually evolved into Dagenham and Redbridge........ Leytonstone, Leyton, Ilford, Walthamstow Avenue....... as well as Bromley, Redhill, Woking, and Sutton .... and all those toughies from oop north, like Bishop Auckland and Crook Town. And yes I saw Romford. Didn’t they play in white shirts and black shorts with a white stripe (like Bromley?) ????
Blue and gold. (I cheated. I had to look at old programmes to remember.Age!!) Ted Ditchburn,LenDuquemin and Frank Teece turned out for Romford with Malcolm Allison at center half.Him of "the Fedora!" ...and played in that ice hockey shaped playing field. That was the first game I saw at Romford You should know by now,I'm a hoarder.Kept all my programmes and others I bought over the years,in box files. Many in better condition than todays!....not to mention Soccer Stars,Football Monthlies etc..........my wife finally put a stop to that......just kidding!!!!!?
Gabriel Jesus has rejected City's contract offer of £90k a week, although I'm sure the complete lack of tabloid think pieces on how City should pay him as much as Man Utd pay Lukaku every week is merely an oversight on their part as there's been so many fixtures for them to report on this week...
He would have been a millionaire in,what? under two years? What's money anyway....unless you ain't got any!
I reckon 5th is the lowest Wolves can finish. Such a pity their manager couldn't find the time to shake hands with Pulis.
No chance whatsoever. Lots of effort but they are letting Salah get too much space. And Benteke is soooooo ****!!
