I might be showing my age here, but the thing that most confuses me about this whole situation is... What the **** did Adam Chance ever do to Russia???? please log in to view this image

Bugger, minor detail Not a good day for the Russians then, the West has given them a collective message...we know what you are up to. Its incredible the more you hear the Russian denials...Litvinenko, Crimea, Salisbury, blah, blah, blah. Alexander Nekrassov is a prime example, he mouths utter BS
But sadly they, the Russians, will still host the World Cup they bought and all the qualifying countries will still turn up claiming sport and politics shouldn’t mix. There must be an “official” 1936 Berlin Olympic film people could watch. Don’t think I’ve ever agreed with anything Boris has said but I do on this point.
There's still time for the European nations to form a boycott of the event. I doubt that will happen but judging by events today, they are more together than we could have expected. There's still time for a boycott but much now depends on what Putin does over the next few weeks.
If England, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal boycotted you can bet that Russia would be stripped of the cup. Holland and Italy of course have boycotted already. Good on them.
This looks to have backfired big-time on Putin. He's pushed his luck once too often and has the might of the West standing squarely up to him. I wonder if Boris Johnson has been in talks with the FA on pulling out? You never know.
He loves this ****. It will allow him to pull our strings even more and put pressure back on us ("the West"). I don't know how he will do this but it is coming.
The Americans are on board now, as can be seen by them expelling 60 today. I think Putin will be more than slightly spooked by their reaction, more so than any other country. Its kind of like gloves off now.
