went to see games night in cinema last night. tbh i generally really dont like jason bateman but he suited this movie. i suppose the concept itself would confuse the youth of today who never heard of charades or board games with their heads stuck in phones its an enjoyable comedy. silly which is far better state for an american comedy movie than it trying to take itself serious.
Sorry Luv but can't agree with 7.5 at all i'd give it a 4 .Didn't get going until at least 1hr 18mins then not much happened, missus also thought it was turd except for the pretty flowers everywhere.
I'm terrible at rating sci fi as I just like the whole other world thing. It does have fair ratings on RT and IMDb though.
Watched The Witch last night, crap 2/10. Supposed to be scary, just mumbo jumbo rubbish. Could see it appealing to Americans though.
I liked it slow, creepy very atmospheric. I can see why it's not for everyone though. I watched The Physician 7/10
Started blade runner 2049 last nights guy and got to the point he discovers his horse in the orphan place. Will have to start again as I was distracted. Leto looks menacing....
watched American Made on the plane. Quite liked it, 8.5/10 Also tried to watch Death of Stalin. I can see why some people like it but not for me. I fell asleep 3/10 Also watched Brads Status with Stiller - slow fairly predictable thought it tried to be clever but it was alright. Good performances in it though 6.5/10 Lastly I, Tonya - quite a story although maybe a little long. It'd be interesting to know the truth behind it but i liked it. 7.5/10
Watched Game Over Man. It's Die Hard by comedy writers that have had a lobotomy. One long dick joke.. .. literally at times
The Witch was good, not without issues but a solid 7+/10 Still watching TWD and up to date despite swearing I'd never watch it again mostly because I've stuck it out this far. You get probably two decent episodes per half season with it, so maybe four in total depending, it's really uneven and misbalanced though, a frustrating show New Pacific Rim is one to stay away from Watched Saving Private Ryan again ... classic film don't like Tom Hanks as an actor though Troy on the BBC is utter trash
Its yet another in the new line (like TWD) that thinks going very slow with minimal action (often unseen or partially seen action) is the way to go. Of course character development is important and dialogue is needed, but **** me you need something other than the occasional tits to keep you interested.
TWD when I saw Rick and his cronies behind some corrugated sheets with a clear shot of Negan and his main sidekick and didn't shoot them I stopped watching it.
