It's a temporary reinstatement. They did their job.
As I've said before on this very thread, in Beverley the council workers are stood by waiting to lay the slabs. What powers did they have? Admittedly this was years ago when I was doing it.

Who will relay them at a later date? The utility company or the council?

As I understand it, the Council weren't happy with the way the utilities were reinstating the slabs, so once they're finished, the Council are called back in to fix them. This is generally happening within a day or so, but people are so eager to slag off the Council, they keep sharing the pictures long after the works have been done.

A few people have raised that as an issue.

    I'll say.

It looks like an episode of the Walking Dead if you ever go to pick up a parcel <laugh>

It's a bit of a ****-hole of a building and it's obviously not going to be able to flog a load of new apartments with a load of homeless people hanging around outside. Be interesting to see what they do with the old Northern Divers building as well, assuming they want to keep it, you'd expect them to want to do something a bit special with it.

Blimey, are the council on a spending spree? BHS, Edwin Davis's, and now this, I lose track of it all, do they own the flower mill site as well?

When they completed Woodford last week, they said they had a lot of money in the kitty that they needed to spend.

They can afford to fix the potholes, it's replacing the roads (rather than just fixing the potholes), that they can't afford.

    Yes.

They got a £5.7m regeneration grant from the government to fund the land/building purchases, now they need developers to work with to actually build the things.

It's a shame the hotel has pulled out or I would have got some office space in the K2

Princes Quay looks to be getting a food court before Hull Venue opens (adding to Nandos and Pizza Express already there).

It seems all four which have been in the vote could be on their way as you previously suggested, BCC.

The office pricing was good, but when you work out the costs per sq. metre, it just wouldn't be sustainable, and at the time when the hotel pulled out, we were anticipating that after Year 1, the price increase would be huge

Princes Quay have moved the voting system up a floor now near the old Footlocker store. Options are more entertainment based this time including a pop-up Xbox zone, a yoga studio, a knitting club or a fourth one which I can’t remember what it was.
