I happen to come across Danny East twitter account, and he seems to be playing at Guiseley. really thought he would have made it at least as a full back in Div 1 or 2, probably would have done OK for us this season.

I’d like to think Will Annan is a bit better than that!

As far as Curry is concerned I really rate him, I would have thought he was one of the players that could step up. It might be the fact that the U23's haven't got much to play for in their league now, so maybe giving them some experience game time. There again some might be for what you say.

He was at Portsmouth for a while I think
He had a nasty injury though, just as it looked like he’d be getting back in Guiseley’s first team so I’m not sure if he’s playing right now

East was a first choice player for Grimsby in the season they were promoted back to the Football League, but was released as soon as they went up.

He’s had a lot of injury problems and as he played ever game at the start of the season, but hasn’t played since September, I assume he’s injured again.

All you need to know ahead of Monday afternoon's Professional Development League clash with the Robins...

Fixture: Hull City U23s vs Bristol City U23s
    Where: Eon Visual Media Stadium
    When: Monday 26th March 2018
    Kick-Off: 2pm

The Under-23s return to Professional Development League action when they host their Bristol City counterparts at the Eon Visual Media Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Following back-to-back defeats at the hands of Nottingham Forest and Leeds United, Jon Beale's responded well to claim all three points last time out as Tom Powell's second-half brace secured a 2-1 win away at Burnley and will be looking to keep alive their faint hopes of securing a play-off place when facing the Robins, going into the game three points behind second-placed Forest - albeit having played two games more.

Bristol City side are currently in the midst of a fixture pile-up, having played three games in the space of just eight days last week - a run which started with a 1-0 defeat away at Ipswich Town, before a 2-2 draw with Birmingham City and a convincing 3-0 victory over Colchester United.

They also face a further game this week with a trip to Swansea City in the knockout stages of the Premier League Cup on Thursday.

Match updates from the home of North Ferriby United will be available via Twitter by following @Tigers_Academy, while a match report will be available on both www.hullcitytigers.com and www.hulltigersacademy.com.

Tickets: Admission to the game is FREE of charge to all Members, whilst tickets for non-Members are priced at £4 Adults and £2 Concessions.

Anyone know if any of the U23's who are out on loan are coming back to play?

I believe they can from non league clubs, though as several of the normal U18's squad were missing from the game against QPR last week, I assume the better players have been drafted into the U23's.

I know they can come back, Annan, Barkworth got on as late substitutes Saturday and Curry wasn't in the squad. Depends I guess if the club they are at have a match midweek, Spennymoor do, not sure about Tadcaster. Both Hinchliffe and Fleming were in the starting eleven for Gainsborough last Saturday.

Great stuff. I'm off in a bit.
Taking daughter for her first ever game.
Bribed her with a promise of hot chocolate, crisps, chip butty.

I hope the portakabins shut <laugh>
