Pheeew a little bit more optimistic now that rsc is out of the equation. I might be one of very few but id love Bendtner. Think he'd thrive here in a stick his chest out cantona style kind of way . Main man!

I think he could be, i'm not suggesting he is the absolute bona fide replica of Darren Bent but younger or owt, but he's the bona fide replica of Darren Bent, but younger.

He even scuffs 1 in 3 in.

If i had the money, i'd buy us the man!

Sadly, that machine was a remote control for a Beta-max player.

    With no batteries in it.

Roque Santa Cruz will have a medical at Real Betis on Saturday.

Pogrebynak, Bendtner or that other bloke from Germany that hasn't been mentioned yet!

Watch this mate and tell me this isn't the closest thing to Bent you've seen.

God I hope it is him, just what we need, a proper striker, I dont care if he does **** all outside the box as long as he is there to stick it in, scuffs, knees, the lot

This is it lads, he's one of them strikers that just gets something on it, clean or otherwise and gets it on target, that's half the battle.

He's so similar to Bent it's untrue, he just gets the ball in the net, or at least on target.

He's the blueprint of what we need, and would compliment the outside the box play of Gyan, would work with a big lad like Whickham, and would make the runs for Sess to give, or open space for him to shoot.

This boy could be the missing piece.

I tell you what though he's got a big gob on him (check beginning of vid) - he could probably swallow the opposition defence whole!

The thing about Bendtner is I felt sorry for him at Arsenal he is an out and out striker, which doesn't fit in with the way Wenger insists on playing.
I've said this before, you could see him getting more and more frustrated during games as they passed the ball about on the edge of the box for 20 passes then try and roll the ball in the net.
He would make good runs and the ball wouldn't come.

    £20million minimum, absolutely no chance.

    Champions League football as well.

He's actually similar in style and stature to Whickham as well, we need an out and out finisher, Gignac would have been superb, but it's clear we just need a Bent clone.

    Got to be Cisse.

Freiburg are live on bet365 tomorrow against Wolfsburg, worth having a look.
