Yeah same here. I had an average first week and a bad second week. Bad run but i usually hit form from Christmas onwards

It's my first year of doing something like this so i'm taking it all far too seriously!

 

I remember my first year and yeah i took it seriously. Then i realised that there is far too much luck involved and now i just select a team and occasionally check and make the odd change.

 

i played it once years ago, you picked 11 and could only change player in certain windows. if player was injured it was tough tits. you had to back your judgement and thats what i'm going to do now. my 15 are the players i'm going to use.

 

Yeah i remember those rules - transfer windows etc.

It was better like that to be honest as now you can literally copy the guy who's number 1 in the global league in a matter of 5 minutes.

 

Yeah but it gets boring when not making transfers. I bet I averaged two transfers a week last year and still won the league I was in. A few transfers make it more interesting

 

yeah but i agree with sky, you can make transfers and copy other people

 

The H2H one for the global league is up now, I won by one point against my opposition and nicked the 3 points

 

Ahhh i see the head to head has updated. Where are you Sky? ooooooh didn't see you all the way down there.

 

Did that, then used my wildcard so I wouldn't lose the 28 points it threatened me...

 

I got B4F next. 2nd v 3rd place... potential title decider.

I have the most expensive strike force in the league.... no doubt. Meaning.......2 points for each tomorrow, doh!

 

Actually it becomes much harder to do this as you go through the season as the guys at the top tend to have more cash and higher value teams thus it's very difficult to copy a team without the available funds

 

getting the early bragging rights in eh...title decider after 2 games? This isn't Scottish football you know

 

My team has extra incentive playing Kenny's dream 11 and being the first team to win! I fancy the 3 points today

 

How has Tim Howard only got fantasy points for 1 penalty save. Surely the fact Blackburn missed 2 penalties means he should get points for both? He's got me 12 points on his own today, but should be 17 and hopefully more if he gets some bonus points!
