So sorry to hear this. I've lost two in the past year. Both were older and had cancer so by the time we had to let them go it wasn't a shock but still totally heartbreaking. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose one so young.

Mrs Crab to be has her heart set on getting another one in about 18 months time for precisely this reason. She wants an ‘overlap’ so we’re never without a dog. **** me, it’s killing me even thinking about this.
Arnaud Beltrame, the French police officer, who yesterday swapped himself with a hostage in the French terrorist attack, keeping his radio on to help the police monitor what was happening, and one of those shot, has died. What a selfless sacrifice, a hero. RIP

I know nothing of this story but, needless to say, that is incredible bravery. RIP and heartfelt condolences to his friends and family.
A friend last night told me that Peter Kay has died. Apparently it's yet to be released to the public. I don't believe it for a second, but he said it's why he cancelled his tour before, the illness was apparently terminal. I really hope that's wrong.
