ive been planning my dad’s new kitchen all week. Going to pay for it tomorrow morning then I will be sleeping all weekend. Wot u lot up2?
Didn't notice this thread or I would have posted my "no idea what I'm up to this weekend" comment on here instead.
I'm off to Koln to get ratarsed oot o' ma brain for about eighty hours. Hopefully back on Friday after carousing and shenanigans in many of Koln's smashing local boozers (kolsch-kneipe), brewery pubs plus some upmarket haunts for a touch of hootenanny hunting!
^^^ Lives at home with his parents. Will be doing a Red Dwarf box set marathon and drinking too much fizzy pop.
Tomorrow morning I'll be birdwatching with Nick Holtam, Bishop of Salisbury. He's a right laugh on a twitch and always brings the most wondrous selection of goodies (not Bill Oddie, or Bloddy as he's known in our circles). Then I'll race back to London for the Charlton match, after which I shall enjoy an Indian meal at my favourite Greenwich eatery. Sunday shall be spent at the folly.
His managerial debut ended in a 2-0 win over the free-scoring Pilgrims of Plymouth. Admittedly, I had my doubts (I still have, really), but it's a decent start, eh?
Seen the score earlier and thought about my post Plymouth losing will have hammered lots of bets today, great result for Charlton.
Yep, I know a few who stuck a wad on Plymouth - especially after I'd bemoaned how terrible our form's been of late. Bowyer may turn out to be a revelation, yet somehow I doubt it. It's probably just the new manager bounce.
It was a regular haunt of mine back in the day. A lovely, historic tavern with a great view. I tend to avoid pubs nowadays.
