    Doncaster 3.35pm

I like Dolphin Vista 25/1 each way 6 places.

5th in the race last year and up 3lbs but claimer takes off 7lbs. Seems to go well in big field handicaps and likes soft ground. Warmed up with a prep over hurdles and won a big pot last year. A good each way shout so I m on..

    Good luck all....

I’ve narrowed my Lincoln selections down to 3. Done them all each way and added a couple of forecasts & tricast.

There is nothing more guaranteed to make you look foolish, than being confident in a big field handicap with a history of long odds winners. So as I get ready to wear my jester suit I will say that Lord Glitters will not be beaten in the Lincoln!
Undoubtedly a graded winner in waiting and due to the compressed nature of the handicap has only 10lb to give away at worst. If you pick something else - then do it ew :)

In the 1.50 Don I feel that Ice Age is ready to give a good account, 10-1 ew. In the other TV races at Donny, Zabeel Prince is my bet of the day and Original Choice a far from confident pick in the 2.25

At Newbury (proper racing!) I like both Shanroe Santos who has done me favours in the past and Oscar Rose for the FOB team

    Good luck all <ok>

Hi Reebs mate. Unusually had a bit of a word regarding Lord Glitters. The yard think the horse is group class but the word of warning was that he wouldn’t be risking the whole season to win this today.
I think if he is in position to win he will but they do not want to ruin him for the season.

Fair enough Stick, thanks. Too late to stop the bookies handling my roubles however (oooh matron!)

It's always a chance we take - part of the fun. Fun???? After several bevvies maybe <laugh>

One race down and already I won't be winning the ITV 7 :)

Despite flat racing being the inferior of the two disciplines for me I cant avoid backing another at Doncaster. In the 2.25pm Taqdeer 5/1 e.w 4 places...

That advert with Chris Kamara, where a jockey stands up in the stirrups celebrating having mis-read the winning post .... is that an actual race or just trickery? Anyone know?

It was an actual race mate. I think the jockey was an amateur but not sure.
