The ones I worry for most in Russia are the matches involving African or Middle Eastern teams. Got a really bad feeling about them.

Slightly off topic but me and the missus are going shopping in Salisbury tomorrow, to give some support to the shops that are suffering since the nerve agent attack.

Totally agree. The Russian hooligans are military like. In that documentary about their hardcore hooligans it's almost a given there'll be blood shed, I think they'll be out for any nationality. I think it will be the worst World Cup ever for violence.

I would love - LOVE - to see them try it in Russia. But of course they won’t, despite the availability of tickets.

Booing the home side’s national anthem. ****ing pathetic. I hope anyone who did this gets bummed by a pimp.

No it's not, what planet are you on where you think that is acceptable behaviour?

I agree with others, and I don't think police are harsh enough. They need a savage beating, stabbing, some to intensive care and suffering life long effects such as brain damage or permanent disfigurement at the hands of a Russian militia. It would be fully deserved.

I agree. Our fans should sing every opponents national anthem.

Society creates these people though, they don't just materialise out of nowhere.

National anthems? Boring as hell, scrap them. It's not meant to be political anyway.

Why is anyone surprised by this. Take the passports of these chavy twats so they can not travel. There are plenty of England fans who cause no trouble whatsoever. However they end up being the ones who get put in hospital by right wing russian paramilitary hooligans who some on here apparently seem to encourage to do what they are appalled by in the first place. Anyone in the right mind going to russia even before the politics got involved need their heads looking at.

Pretty certain some poor sod is going to get killed and it wont be a seasoned thug either.

Russia holding the world cup. Fifa take a bow.

Ps i realise bob is tounge in cheek with his comments
