From the bits I did watch and reading on it after, the main thing I’ve taken out of it is how unbelievably **** Holland are. Lumping it forward to a ****ing pak tree with absolute dross like Depay and Van Aanholt getting a game. Obviously we aren’t going to win the World Cup but it would be a huge failure to not make a QF given the layout of the groups.
Half watched it. Holland are unbelievably ****. When I think of the great Dutch sides of the past it makes you wonder wtf is going on there. Anybody who can make England look good haven’t got a lot going for em.

To which bit? I won’t be watching due to personal preference and selection being a joke as it has for years. And saying they should disband it is tounge in cheek but I seriously don’t think the majority of English football fans would miss it. We get worse by the year and will continue to embarrass the country in competitions. We couldn’t win anything when we had Lampard, Gerrard, Terr, Ferdinand, Scholes, Cole, Neville etc. Now we don’t have anyone at that level and have players like Henderson, Lingard and Alli!!
Look, I really want to enjoy it and see us do well, why wouldn’t I or any other English football fan. It has got tiresome though. That selection last night summed it up, play the ‘big 6’ players so they can rest in the week and play the others. Maybe when youve had as much excitement from a club perspective as Leicester have these last few years it speeds up the process of being done with the national side and these breaks being an inconvenience
I get John's sentiment RE England. Every tournament I tell myself we'll be a laughing stock as per usual but I always end up in the boozer, getting off my trolley while lobbing beer up at the ceiling chanting 10 German bombers, believing all the hype that Jordan Henderson will lead us to glory only to then probably break down in tears once England don't make it beyond the groups after Panama ****punch us 4-0. Football, funny ol' game.
