Right now we have 8 games left and we are still in with a sniff of top 4.
We need to make sure we win these remaining games.
Not sure if now is the best time to be giving Baka game time, in the hope that he comes good,.

He needs a summer break and to start again next season. It may be with a different manager, in a different system. Who knows. But I'd be worried about playing him at the moment with confidence so low. Not since Cuadrado have I seen a player look so devoid of confidence.

Yes, I am not writing him off completely.
There are plenty of players who have had **** first seasons at new clubs, then came good.
But for these remaining games, i would bench him.

Baka has been utter tripe so far. I didn’t really think that much of him at Monaco so I’m surprised we shelled out what we did for him.

I’d rather have Oscar back at this moment in time.

Wowww... Pogba looks dog poop for 90 million. So lets label Pogba useless??

Managers are 100% responsible for these kids lack of end product.

Look no further than Mo, KDB & even Lukaku

Pogba is a player being ruined by Jose. He is not being allowed to play his own game, and should not have been bought if that's how Jose wants a midfielder to play. Bakayoko is not being asked to do anything EXCEPT play his own game, but he just can't do it. No mismanaging by Conte there, just lack of ability against better players and tougher teams than he's used to.He might come good or might not, he's being given every opportunity and support unlike Pogba.
Mo KDB and Lukaku weren't mismanaged either, they were unused because Jose doesn't trust kids and prefers to use proven players. Said many times Jose is not a good judge of football potential.

Pogba's usage doesn't stop him from being able to control the ball or his legs, he should be able to do that in any position or style.
Jose let 3 players go who were not, at that stage, good enough to be in the team. You won 2 titles without them, would they have developed better sat on your bench or in the reserves?
Sometimes you have to let players go to develop once they reach a certain age, Fergie let many go rather than hold back their careers. When these players reach the top you should be happy.

I agree completely about the players Jose let go, it's an incredible person who can tell if an 18 or 19 year old will turn out great, even if they are great at 16 ,17 etc. On the other hand, at that time, Jose wasn't interested anyway, he just didn't play any kids, even exceptional ones.
That said, Jose has never been a great scout for potential talent, he prefers to buy proven ones, always has always will, because it's what he needs to keep winning. Seriously ,I think Jose is suffering mentally because he is starting to slip behind other smarter, more adaptable managers than him. Can't see him lasting with you more than this and next season. He's becoming more bizarre and bitter, and has lost all semblance of his sense of humour.
Pogba ,like Bakayoko, has 2 legs ,2 arms ,2 bollocks ( not sure about the latter with Bakayoko), but unless he is given the freedom by Jose to rampage through the middle, which is what makes him a great player, he is pissing in the wind trying to be something he can't be. How about we swap you Pogba for Bakayoko, and throw in Drinkwater, Barkley and Fabregas? And you can have Courtois as well, though you won't want him.

It would be a great deal for us, although - just to rile StanDMan - I’d keep Fabregas. I still rate Fabregas given the fact he can still launch the ball onto a sixpence from 40 yards and from open play.

In some fairness to Jose (not being a great judge of horse flesh) he was under pressure for two reasons being that he had a brilliant team fighting for honours against a tight top four he probably felt that he couldn’t justify leaving the stars out for fear of getting the tin tack...oh dear.

Come on man those long balls are overrated. You need a Drog or Costs to make use of those balls.

Even Luiz can hit those and he has legs. Luiz will be lot better than Cescy any given day

He sure did, which is a big part of the reason for the merry go round of managers at Chelsea. RA spends big, gets top manager, wants titles. Now. The pressure to win is so great only the bravest or dopiest manager would risk playing kids or up and comers too often. That's a sure way to go backwards which is precisely what's happening. We need patience, and a 3 year plan to get back on track. Keeping Conte for next season and getting in those 3 crucial players would see year 2 of the plan come to be.
