Hammers' fans should boycott all games, home and away until the West Ham 5 are reinstated. It's about time that these tyrants who swan around banning people simply because they lack the ability and the courage to sort out the real problems were taught a very severe lesson.
About £60,000 of taxpayers' money will be used to pay for increased security at West Ham's home Premier League match against Southampton on Saturday. The match will be the first at London Stadium since trouble flared at the 3-0 defeat by Burnley on 10 March. Twenty fans were given life bans, including four for invading the pitch.
Not sure from the perspective of taxation what the fuss is all about compared to how football used to be managed. However, in the modern game where police resource is now rarely used in comparison, and due to the present day financial rewards of the game, then yes, on that basis the Premier League clubs should be picking up the tab, especially as the owners of West Ham are the makers of the current problems. Having said that the tabloids love a sensational headline if it means give the National game yet another good kicking, i can imagine the likes of the Daily Malice being all over this story like a rash.
