Since when is this forum just open to Bristol City posters?Just answer me then - why did you delete my very reasonable post as a "respective guest" as you put it on this thread half an hour ago?

Tell me of the posts I've made on this thread, which justify your attention as a moderator rather than an ordinary poster responding to me without the powers of deletion? Just point them out and I'll delete them myself if they're offensive.

Do you just not like an alternative opinion to yours from an outsider so you use those powers to silence them?

I'd like to answer ROD but can't see much point if your going to fire that "delete gun" again.

Hi Rod - seems I've got the all clear for the moment.

I'm not twisting anything. There was a statement made on this thread that the dubious (I'll say no more) calling off of the Sunday game by Derby would have no effect on your final table position, but a number of posters including some of your own have pointed out that ideed it could - that is all.

It's all very well saying you want to get there on merit, but the inference is that Derby just might do it as a result of their weekend actions in forcing the fixture forward to a more suitable time for them.

Whether Derby get some sort of punishment is probably irrelevant to my club being they're 14 points behind us, but it could have a huge impact on those teams around them - that is all anyone is saying.

Derby made every effort to play the game ?

From what I know, the only effort they put in was doing everything in their power to get it called off. But they certainly 'played the game' alright !

Why am I not surprised that the EFL found them innocent. Joke

There was only ever going to be one outcome - a bigger whitewash job than the Taj Mahal.

The EFL just couldn't afford to sanction Derby because it would have gone legal and that takes time - time the EFL hasn't got. This season will be over in a little over a month and any penalties imposed would have been legally challenged by Derby. That could completely **** up the playoff programme if not prevent it going ahead altogether.

They didn't have the balls to do it, but it's understandable with so much potentially riding on it. Better to just brush it under the carpet and issue a statement that they would "review procedures in the light of exceptionally valid points raised by Cardiff City" - what a cop-out.

the EFLboard is weak and puppets to the orchestations onf the prem league... it is highly unlikely derby will miss the play off's? although 6 teams chasing two spots !!!!
I have been to busy doing other things to sit down for 10 mins and appraise the last 8 fixtures a lot depends on who is playing who and whether H or A...

The solution is out of our hands but simply lying at our feet awaiting our response. If we can't win critical matches then we don't deserve to get in the playoffs and the easy points we have simply given away tell me that we won't make it this year. Given that we beat Man Utd this season and gave a good account of ourselves in both the League Cup and the Championship leaves me asking as to what happened during January when we all but disappeared off the radar? I know I was sailing the high seas during the first 2 months of 2018 without daily updates on City's progression but when on my return I learnt the facts I was shocked to see our regression and apparent lack of reasoning from the management. Excuses don't win championships (just ask Jose) and sometimes the belief that next season will fit the bill are vastly misplaced and the solidarity visible in the first half of the campaign may never return.
