The Foreign Secretary suggested the Russian President will "glory" in this summer's World Cup in a similar way to the German dictator during the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. Mr Johnson told a committee of MPs it was "an emetic prospect" to think of Mr Putin "glorying in this sporting event", as he agreed it would be comparable to the Olympics held in Nazi Germany. IMO it was all a set up. a patriotic labour MP agrees to make the statement so boris can agree. just my opinion but its the type of degrees of cover these guys engage in.

As for Boris Johnson, he is unprofessional and should not be the foreign Secretary He does not know how to handle difficult issues. He would like to be the Prime minister, Theresa May is smarter than him. He is a liability to the Tories.

imo there is no insult worse to pose to russia than calling them nazis. none. i believe it was completely deliberate and set up to give johnson a slight bit of distance from the insult. it will back fire on the uk imo.

Trans social leaders are a bunch of nutbags. I read as a female search & rescue told a story about how while approaching a man trapped in a car crash he asked if he could have a man rescue him. She then made a throw away statement about how all you men came from women remember or words to that effect. We all see the point of her story. Well jesus.... she got mobbed by all these trans advocates screeching at her that she had made a transphobic statement that not everyone had come from a woman ....blah blah. It's just a very priviliged world they live in and they show total lack of gratitude for their position due to a perceived lack of respect. Yet 99% of the world would love what they have. Frankly..... it's all about make them feel good. She's and he's and surgeries etc etc. Does it give something to the world? Maybe in a small way but compared to the good they could do turning outwards to the wider world and putting that energy into big problems.... well... i just wonder.
They're not Nazis but Trump has been playing from Hitler's play book. He uses similar strategies and techniques to achieve his goals. Control how people communicate. Take a little bit at a time from weaker neighbours knowing the big guys don't really have stomach for a real fight. Pick a common enemy to persecute and blame (gays and Jews). Put on a big show to say look how good we are. Execute rivals...If you're not with me you're a traitor... Etc.
