I see neither of those two have the use of the Mackem brain cell today.

 

They are rubbing their apathy shields down to the stumps.

They seem to think that going into Administration will solve all their problems. Don’t think they realise the problems that come with having a court appointed adminstrator on a huge fee running the club. It will also require Ellis to say he is no longer going to support the club in which case his debt could go onto the list of creditors they have to repay before coming out of administration.
As far as they are concerned its just a 10pt penalty and start again.

 

A 10 point penalty could have them fighting relegation again. Should they be relegated, they can't be so naive/arrogant to think they would walk to promotion in the 3rd division after what has happened this season? I'm not sure how they stop the rot and administration is unlikely to be the answer, although it may be inevitable.

 

Oh yes they can. I've already had this conversation. To be fair I also had the same conversation with a mackem supporting account and he thinks its an impending disaster which is likely to happen. His hope and its not an unrealistic one, is that someone would swoop in at their lowest ebb and they could steadily build. The SOS is a bit of a noose though if you starting down the bottom of League 1. The running costs would be a killer.

 

They've got until the end of today otherwise it goes onto next season....

From 2007–08, any club entering administration after the fourth Thursday in March would have their 10-point deduction suspended until the following season. If the club is relegated the points will be deducted from their tally at the start of next season. If the club stays up the 10 points will be taken off their final total.

 

Unless I've mis-read that, if they do go into administration and they stay up, they'll be relegated anyways with the 10 point deduction...so looks like they're ****ed either way. Like i said I may have mis-read that but i think that's what it sez !

 

I'd rather suffer 6 defeats in a row in the premier league than 2 in a row relegations....what a bunch of thick ****ing numpties they really are !
