Barcelona played a Glasgow based Irish team in the Champions League in season 2004-2005 in which the Barcelona coach bemoaned the style of football dished up by the visitors as "anti-football".

I do have vague recollections of this particular game. I remember thinking at the time, thank **** this bunch of clowns aren't British as it would be an embarrassment to both Scotland and the UK as a whole.

It is believed in some quarters that this disgusting behavour, once it was uncovered, set a precidence and became the inspiration for grooming gangs across the whole of the UK.
