This appears to be a pathetic attempt to justify treating the problem of teenage headcases shooting up schools by advocating yet more guns. The very simple answer to reducing these atrocities is to make it far harder for people to obtain military assault weapons. But, of course, Trump and his paymasters, the NRA, are never gonna do that!
This school shooter didn't have an assault rifle and was stopped by a member of staff with a hand gun. In a country with more guns than people having school staff with fire arms training is the only solution as proven by this case .

Is that what I was implying ? They already have metal detectors in some schools and even shopping malls have armed security so to have trained security in some schools to act as a deterrent and to engage the shooters seems pretty sensible. I blame Russia personally
Typical far right Nonsense. The simple answer is to make legal access to firearms much more difficult. If the shooter in this case wasn’t in possession of an automatic weapon he’s probably the first one. The last one managed to legally buy an AR 15 at age 18 and then use it to slaughter kids.
