Dark winter nights, sitting in front of the fire necking a couple of voddies and watching TV.

Who is watching what and what would you recommend?

    For me...

Power - Netflix show, slick and ultra-violent.

Happy Valley - two series, gripping.

Peaky Blinders - three series, addictive.

Love Power, there’s nobody better at pronouncing “motherfucka” than Tommy Eagan like!

Walking dead has got **** since about season 5 but still persisting with it.

Banshee is class and I would highly recommend it.

Others on my watching list are Vikings, Billions, Peaky Blinders, Sneaky Pete, S.W.A.T. Seal Team and for a bit of light entertainment in 20 mins bursts, Arrested Development.

Billy Murphy - one of the best characters of all time. I love that daft Irish sense of humour. It’s probably why Father Ted appealed so much.

This Country and People Just Do Nothing are 2 of the 3 best British comedies out at the moment. The others already been mentioned.

Currently re-watching Silicon Valley, four seasons of class.

    Both on Amazon

Black Sails - best series I have watched. 1st series is lots of dialogue and takes a while to warm up but stick with it it's all rooted in real events so if you like History, Pirates and Boob's then it is incredible. Series 3 was off the scale.

The looming tower - think it's going to be a 1series job. Still coming out with weekly episodes. About the build up to 9/11 and all the political arguments happening in the US about how to deal with the threat.

Oh and I'm back on the last series of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Absolutely love it!

    That was brilliant.

Also loved the Avengers but the New Avengers was so much better...
