Hi Ell Just relieved I have no LUFC match this week although I'm looking forward to watching proper sportsmen play at ER on Friday evening Rhino's v Cas, will no doubt be end to end stuff from the first to the last minute with no time-wasting in the last 15 minutes or more. It's alright our players having an international break, I need a sanity break !!!
It is so disheartening after such a great start, then comes January 1st, it all came crashing down around us. I was just wondering earlier where our next 3 points were coming from?
I think a draw v Sunderland on 7th April, draw v Barnsley on 21st April and draw v QPR on 6th May, but hoping you can do us a favour and take points off of Fulham, Preston and Villa instead choo choo
Leeds United have today announced that youngster Bobby Kamwa has signed professional terms with the club. The midfielder has signed a two and a half year deal to remain at the club until June 2020. He has featured extensively for the Under-18s side this season and follows in the footsteps of Clarke Oduor and Jack Clarke in earning a full time deal. Academy Manager Adam Underwood told the official club site:“Bobby has made good progress during his scholarship and this has been recognised with his first professional contract. It represents the next step on the ladder for Bobby and everyone at Thorp Arch is really pleased for him. He is one of a number of local Academy players that will move from the Under-18s into the Under-23s next season, which will further strengthen our pool of talented young professionals.” Kamwa won Most Valuable Player in an U18s tournament in Qatar recently. Leeds U18s beat Aspire Academy in the final, a victory that earned Kamwa the title of ‘MVP’ for the whole tournament. The Cameroon-born teenager first signed his scholarship contract at Leeds in 2016 and hopes to follow Baily Peacock-Farrell and Tom Pearce into the Elland Road first team.
please log in to view this image Do you remember a few weeks ago that someone was mowed down outside Elland Road, ands shortly afterwards Radrizzani announced he he had died? Well, Phil Cummings has risen from the dead in good time for Easter. Leeds United fans and staff took to social media last month to show concern and support, following reports of a man being run over and killed after the Brentford game but is looking none the worse following the ordeal. Phil, who has Down Syndrome and is classed as a vulnerable adult, suffered two breaks to his femur and fractures to his ankle, as well as other injuries. As he continues to recover from the accident, Phil was invited down to Thorp Arch today, where he was given a behind the scenes tour of the facility. Phil got to meet the players and staff at Thorp Arch, head coach Paul Heckingbottom, along with getting to watch the first team train. Speaking about the day, Phil’s sister Julie said: “This is the first time Phil has been named, but the support he has received on the internet and through social media has been amazing. “He has been a Leeds United fan all of his life and he loves being in the stands at Elland Road with all of the supporters. “What Leeds United have done for him has really made his day, he is a bit star struck, but he has loved it, when the players came out you could see his face light up. “Phil will continue to have physio when his cast comes off and hopefully he will make a full recovery. Leeds United head coach Paul Heckingbottom added: “It’s been great to see Phil down at the training ground today, you can see his passion for the club and we are delighted to see him making a speedy recovery. “To help to cheer him up we’ve arranged a free season ticket for him for next year and we look forward to seeing him at Elland Road for many years to come, he is part of our family.”
Orta gave him a four year contract. Absolutely sick of the pr bollix the club continue to pump out. Great they did it but no need to make a song and dance about it.
just been thinking if we will win another game this season and i'm not hoping .next up Bolton who are fighting relegation versus our team of pacafists. we got overun in midfield against weds and it wont matter about the defence if we have no midfield.been saying it all season but it's dire.
There will likely be many more before end of season. There’s little to discuss and you can only keep rabbiting on about last weekends pissup for so long
Absolutely Glory just another PR measure to give the impression we are a family club Need to resolve the problems on the pitch, that's the main concern for our fans
Leeds United playmaker Samuel Saiz could be back training by next week, according to his manager Paul Heckingbottom. The Whites boss has revealed that the 27-year-old has been absent recently with a hamstring injury, as he watched from the sidelines the 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday before the international break. However, he is confident that the attacking midfielder can start to build back towards fitness by next week while international friendlies are still taking place. “He has a little tear on the tendon in his hamstring. We are hoping we can get him out on the grass next week,” Heckingbottom told BBC Radio Leeds. (A picture of Saiz, just incase you thought it was Hernandez) The Yorkshire giants don’t play again until 30 March and fans will hope that Saiz can be in contention for the Championship clash at home to Bolton. Leeds’ season appears to be over as they seem very unlikely to close the 12-point gap to the play-offs with just eight matches remaining. However, Heckingbottom should be able to get a good look at his squad and has already trailed youngsters Bailey-Peacock-Farrell and Tom Pearce in the first team. Saiz has been one of the outstanding players at Elland Road in a mixed season, scoring nine goals and supplying seven assists in 30 games across all competitions.
