Uefa made a change from this season Tobes, the top 4 from England, Italy, Spain and Germany get an automatic place in the group stage next season.

 

tbh i think nobody minds a qualifier.

normally piss easy and more relevant level for end of preseason and yoy can charge higher price for tickets

Gerrard, Kuyt, Agger and more - LFC Legends squad confirmed


A 21-man Liverpool FC Legends squad has been confirmed for Saturday's charity match against German giants Bayern Munich.

The Reds boast a stellar line-up for the Anfield clash, featuring the likes of Daniel Agger, Luis Garcia, Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt, John Arne Riise and more.

Robbie Fowler will captain the side, while the club’s record goalscorer, Ian Rush, is set to act as player-manager in the sold-out encounter this weekend.

Plus, Xabi Alonso returns to the home of his old team – with whom he won the Champions League and FA Cup in the mid-2000s – to play 45 minutes for Liverpool.

Money raised from the charity game will help to fund a variety of projects for the LFC Foundation and charity partners. You can watch the match for free, live on the official LFC Facebook page, LFCTV GO, Sky channel 429 and Virgin Media channel 544 (3pm GMT kick-off).

Used to think he was a good ref but that against Everton was out oand out dirty - one of the worst decisions I have seen. Wasn’t even the major decision it was literally all of the decisions in that game !

 

Yeah, the blue ****e were hard done by in that game by Collina, although I thought it amusing at the time I'd have been angry and sick as a dog it he'd have done that to us in an important European game.
