i know this is petty and we are all over it by now (not me) but... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb68nbJLa6s conclusive proof
Watford fan in peace. I have to feel that you guys were very unlucky there. 9/10 keepers would pick the ball out of their net after conceding and kick it away in any direction yet would escape punishment. The ref obviously wanted to make a name for himself and got his knickers in a twist! Good luck for the rest of the season.
Schmeichel does it after every goal he concedes and needs to be taught a lesson instead of being allowed to continue his haughty, time-wasting prima donna routine. Good on the ref, a bit of common sense being used in that booking.
Stop coming on here to talk about Schmeichel, it's boring. Go slag off the real culprit for your problems on your own board.
I'm expressing a valid opinion on a thread about Schmeichel which was started by someone else. Without such opinions, there would be no point in internet forums. In short: You're talking jibber-jabber. I don't understand. He was average with a **** attitude which continues to this day and our new keeper looks better. I don't know of any Leeds fan who still thinks we should have kept him, in fact.
How was it time wasting when he threw the ball so quickly to within 20 yards of the centre spot? If he had booted it into the stands fair enough. The ref got it hopelessly wrong - no question about it.
Choice 1: Throw it towards the centre circle Choice 2: Give it to BC players who will take it to the centre circle Choice 3: Hurl it towards the stands and let it end up near the halfway line/touchline where there aren't any other players Which is the most time consuming? Which is the choice that Kasper makes?
Then every referee should book every single player who so much as moves the ball!! We played Derby a few weeks ago and they insisted in picking the ball up and throwing it back to the player having walked 2 yards away and they got away with it every time!!. Its a bit pathetic that he was booked for that when it actually had little consequence on the game. Im sure there were bigger issues which escaped punishment.
1. The ball ended up 20 yards from the centre spot. He could have tapped it 10 yeards in front of him and he wouldnt have got a card even though the ball would have been further from the centre spot. 2. We were player Forest not BC you nob end 3. Why give it to redscum players when it was our centre kick and not theirs..... you tool? 4. It wasnt hurled towards the stands it ended up half way between the touch line and centre spot. I suggest you know what your talking about before you join in a conversation....just out of interest how well did you do in school or did you leave early?
To be fair to Forest, Pantsil completely nailed Gunter just before their second goal. I mean Ben Thatcher elbow style, he was crumpled in a mess. It was at least a booking. No referee in this league is good enough. I always notice the difference when a proper Prem ref comes down then most decisions are fair and justified whereas most decisions given by Championship refs are completely strange.
Here's our opinions. Lonergan is a ****e goalkeeper compared to Kasper. Kasper may not be as good at commanding his defence but when you have leaders like Mills and Bamba and experienced pros like Pantsil and Koncheskey they don't need it so much. If we had your defence and kasper then I'd be worried but we don't and frankly I think we have the best back 5 in the league. There is my opinion and it is shared with most of the Leicester board. So if you wouldn't mind ****ing off now, that'd be great
our ref this week is scott mathieson. our ref last week was jonathon moss and he is doing the port vale v southend game as punishment
That is a statement i have to agree with!! In the case of Watford we have had 4 clear penalties denied which would have given us another 4 points. Something needs to be done. Preferably the managers rate the ref out of 10 after a match and if the ref gets lower than 5 on any match they get a talking too, then if they get another two marks >/=5 they miss a week and have training.
Someone needs to tell Kasper to try and not get angry at himself when he doesn't save a penalty. No goalkeeper in the world (even his dad) can save a well taken penalty, no matter how good the goalie is. That is a scientific fact (human reaction-time is simply too slow.) A goalie should expect to be beaten by a penalty every time. Nothing wrong with really celebrating, if they do manage to save the odd one, but getting angry with themself if they don't save one is just daft.
Yes, because tapping it towards the centre spot isn't time-wasting, it's an attempt to get the game kicking off again. Throwing the ball in the direction of the stands (look at his stance when he throws it if you don't believe me) with no intention of it being anywhere near the centre-circle, that's time wasting and it's a ****ty attitude. Yep, an honest mistake which doesn't affect the discussion in the slightest. Guess that makes me a nob end. I never said he should have done. Just said it was one of the options. His intention was to hurl it into the stands and away from the field of play. That is time-wasting and unsportsmanlike behaviour. Dispute that if you want to, but it's glaringly obvious. PM me. xxx By the way, referring to Forest as 'redscum' is one of the most cringeable, tinpot things I've ever seen a football fan write/say. If a player's deliberately holding up the game when play is not in progress, they should be booked. I'm not sure about this Derby example. I've seen every game of his this season and he's been superb. I've seen more games of Kasper's than you and he was average with a poor attitude. Anyway, this isn't a discussion for this thread which is about the yellow. It's been done to death and I can't be bothered resuming it now. Good evening to you. I'll do whatever the **** I want.
