    *sigh*

    With the likes of Enrique, Barton and Carroll it was always a case of 'what if'.

    Even if we'd sold Carroll, kept everyone else and invested at least £25 million of the Carroll money on transfer fees we would be looking like a side in contention for europe. At the moment we are looking lower-mid table material.

    Well ideally I'd have liked a new RB to replace Simpson, but the strength in depth would have been a sight to behold, I mean thats a very strong bench.

    It is, very strong squad. Capable of top ten with ease. But life's full of what if's! Just got to be happy with the quality we have now and hope we can push for a higher position than last season.
