The Dildo Bros and Lady Liar Brady have an agenda where, after screwing LBC for as much as they can, they and the Gov are so pissed off they pretty much give the stadium to WHU. Cue sale of club for massive profit.
There is going to be trouble when we go there. Hopefully we can cut and run with the pts before before it all kicks off big time. The fan vids on Youtube are a interesting insight, the hatred is bubbling away, while the owners keep adding fuel to the flames with stupid comments and worthless apologies.
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/03/2...usses-southampton-re-signing-luke-shaw-belie/ Matty discussing Luke Shaw....thinks Spurs might be the best bet for him. Mourinho's treatment of Shaw just proves to me what a self-absorbed creep the man is. The original fault may lie with Luke, but Mourinho must be awful to work for if you are not one of the favoured ones. Reminds me of the way he treated that medic at Chelsea. He thinks he can say anything to anyone and not be challenged or have to apologise...ever. As a side issue, Saints apparently warned United of Luke's liking for fast food and fizzy drinks....leading to weight and fitness problems. At that time he was very young, but seems to be a bit of an ongoing situation.
Annoyingly I do agree that Spurs, and moreover Poch, is the best solution for him. But let’s wait and see where Poch is next season.
Doubtful I'd say. Sell on fees, I think, are only applicable if the player gets sold for more than the club bought him for. Can't see Shaw going for £30m even in todays market. Probably around the £20m mark
He'll be gone soon, and I can't see him working in England again for a while. Rebuild in Italy/France perhaps?
Why shouldn't they be after them for failing to steward it properly? The lack of proper stewarding was a joke.
End of the day if people want to run on the pitch and kick off, you won't stop them anyway regardless of how many there are.
Absolutely. The only thing that actually worked in terms of preventing pitch invasions was caging fans in, and look how that turned out.
I'd agree regarding mass pitch invasions but that's not what this was. It was about 6 people (at separate times) and some ran around for a minute and a half without even being challenged It was an appalling lack of security, and my point is west ham are right to go after the stadium operators as, rightly or wrongly, that's who's responsible for stewarding, not West Ham.
I don't see why the responsibility for stewarding doesn't lie with WHU....after all they wanted the stadium. Small print I suppose. All part of desperation to find a use for the stadium....many Olympic venues abroad are just ruins now. London wanted to avoid that happening as they wanted to keep an athletic stadium.
That's why I said rightly or wrongly as whether it should be or not is a different debate. These sorts of things have proved to be problematic for them too with changes being hard to make due to lack of control so I doubt the fans are overly happy with it. But the fact remains that they have no say on stewarding etc. Inside the ground so they are well within their rights to tell the operators to improve it.
Agreed, stewarding and checks in this country are pretty shocking anyway giving recent world events. How many games in this country do you see fans letting off flares , smoke bombs etc... I mean I'm not naive enough to think you can check everyone because you simply can't but in general it's poor. Saints fans set a few off as recent as sundays game. As for stewards stoping fans invading the pitch most of them just stand and watch majority of the time, you get the odd one who's a bit of a laugh and generally a nice bloke but most are just lil Hitler's not realising they actually have no power what so ever in fans eyes.
Smoke bombs etc. Are definitely on the up recently. Not as bad as a lit flare being thrown at your own which is what happened in the Wigan end on Sunday. The point is at any other ground in the country, as soon as a fan enters the pitch there's a steward in pursuit. They're not using football stewards and it shows.
Yes you can. I went to the Wales v Italy 6 Nations game at the Millenium Stadium a few weeks ago. Each and every person was stopped, bags searched and everyone given (admittedly) a cursory check of the body. Fans were warned to get there early because of this and a huge, huge majority did. Would anyone attempt to bring in flares or smoke bombs if they knew there was a chance that they'd be found and that they wouldn't be allowed in to the game, because that's what needs to happen...
