Just a heads up as I don't think this has been mentioned yet.

With birmingham fc having qualified for the group stages of the europa league, they now have a fixture on thursday 15th september. As a result it is almost certain that our saturday evening kick off will be moved to the sunday and taken off sky.

Thought people should know incase this affects any plans!

Have to say I was delighted that Birmingham made the group stage. Not because I give a damn about them, but because they will be condemned to mid table.

Not to mention that it meant that a Championship club got further than any of the Scottish teams! (And yet people think that Celtic and Rangers could comfortably cope in the Premiershship).

Not sure Sky will change their schedule especially for Championship clubs and Brum can't afford to lose the TV revenue

I'd hardly say it was 'certain'.

True, although I think Celtic will find themselves reinstated pretty soon.

I agree. I think any other time it would be moved to Sunday but the fact it's on Sky, it will probably stay the same. Hopefully they'll be a bit jaded ;)

On Birminghams website, they mention moving a couple of games because of Europe but no mention of moving the Saints match. Hope they're tired. However, I would like to say congratulations to Birmingham...not always just the big clubs. The League Cup is worth winning now isn't it?

Hmmm guess they really need the tv revenue.
