50 years a supporter should get you in free......you've spent enough!
My golden anniversary next October. I'm thinking of a nice tattoo.

Standing "under the clock"???!!!!! Was that a punishment in your school as well, Smithy????? I thought it was only in the harsh regime of the school that had the privilege of my attendance!!!!!!!!! [In our case, it was just a few steps from the Headmaster's office, and if he came out and saw you there, he was quite likely to take you in and give you the cane if he was in a bad mood. He was almost always in a bad mood. Consequently the pools of (mostly) sweat under the clock must have given the cleaners extra work at the end of the day!]

That's the year my dad went to his first away game - Everton. No motorways in those days, as you know. When I asked him how long it took to him to get there? He replied.... "Forever."
He and I went on the stadium tour in 2015 and they asked when did you see your first game? "1947/48 but my grandad was at the 1921 Cup Final" he took over answering stuff from the hostess for about 10 minutes.
That was when Stoke was the retirement home for aging players, a bit like the MLSFriday is my 50th!!
