My experience mas made all the sweeter with a gin and tonic! I know it was only Wigan but I think the 2nd half was the first decent gutsy performance this season and the fans behind the goal were awesome!
I've watched most of the second half three times....I wonder why there wasn't a first half to this game. Must be a Northern thing.
Didn't have you down as a G&T kind of guy Jonny Thought cider would have been more in your line. Shows how wrong you can be about people
oh no not cider. That brings back some bad memories from my youth involving 2 litre bottles of strongbow. i just like beer normally, locally brewed ales!
When I was kid, or not much older, people actually gave kids Woodpecker Cider - I think because it was sweet and it had a picture of a bird on it. Anyway, things were different in the 70's. Merrydown - now that was the proper loopy juice. Can't beat proper rough Scrumpy though. I had a flatmate once from Bath (pronounced Baaaff) who used to bring back plastic jugs of the stuff. A few slugs of that and you'd be halucinating visions of the Apple Goddess.
Anything that's 8.2% has no business describing itself as a beer or cider really. Got the park bench market sown up though
Yeah can feel that **** burning your throat as it goes down, proper drain cleaner stuff. All about Thatchers gold, don't really drink anything else.
It seemed to go on for ever. I was 15, and despite not acheiving my ambition of losing my virginity, it remains one of the best summers of my life.
