Give me one reason you would accept from a drink driver who hit and killed someone from your family

You've never waited 4 hours for an ambulance?

I have on more than one occasion.

No it's not. Speed limits were introduced to reduce fuel usage.

I’ve never waited 4 hours for a taxi or a friend when in an emergency.

    That's escalated quickly.

“Anyone caught drink driving should be banned for life from driving as a complete minimum. There isn't a single justifiable excuse for it.”

    To

“Give me one reason you would accept from a drink driver who hit and killed someone from your family“

Not all people over the limit hit & kill people. Your over-reaction tells me all I need to know about how you assess & react. With very little reasoned thought.

I’ve said it previously & I’ll stick by it. Many people have driven whilst over the limit, probably you too, at some point in their life. Very few have known about it, been caught or killed someone else.

People who speed, ban them from driving for life, all of them. Speeding kills, there’s no justifiable reason to do it.

Bald tyres? Banned for life, no justifiable excuse.

Headlight out? Banned for life ...

You could make a list of over-reactions as long as your idiotic views - they’d still be bollocks.

If I had 2 pints it would deffo affect my ability to drive. I wouldn't be pissed but I just know my concentration would be hampered. I could have a single pint though and drive shortly after, nor would I fail any tests.

How about life bans for people with traces of recreational drugs? Or two much anti histamine in the haybfever season?

People who drive or operate machinery after taking antihistamines should be lined up and shot in front of their families.

Speed doesn't kill. Otherwise racing drivers would be collapsing and dying every week.
Collisions kill not speed per se, which is whymore people are killed on b roads than motorways and the safest roads per mile travelled are the autobahns.

I know. My wife suffers from hay fever and when I think of the danger she out people in at work a bullet was the only solution. I would have pulled the trigger myself.

If I ever have a heart attack, I hope someone does better than calling me a taxi.

I would have thought first option would be an ambulance. Taxis cost money.

Taxi's more likely to turn up though. My mother fell in the middle of Boulevard a year or so ago, fractured pelvis. Although paramedics were quick off the mark she was lying there 2 hours waiting for the ambulance.

No offence, I’m not disputing it was awful, but more often than not that’s not life threatening.
