Spartacus, the series is ****ing awesome awesome.Although ive never seen series one, from two onwards is brutal.
A mate raves about it but I've not gotten round to watching it. Seen the adverts of it but the CGI stuff put me off a bit.
Thought Avatar was one of the most overrated films I've seen tbh. Looked good but everything else was poor.
I switched off after they used VAR to decide whether the bloke with the net and the trident had moved before Ceasar gave the thumbs up ...
Yeah it's quality. Gannicus is a geezer! I liked Donar as well, wasn't a major character but his one liners were brilliant. If you like Spartacus you'll probably enjoy Vikings if you haven't already seen it. Doesn't use CGI scenery like Spartacus, all shot in Ireland I think and it's brilliant, best TV show I've ever seen.
Yeah each to their own. I've always been fascinated by Viking culture so I suppose it appealed to me more than others when it first came out, the show just seems to get better and better. The lad that plays a grown up Ivar from season four onwards is different level, never known someone to play a cripple that could be so ruthless. Hands down one of the best scenes I've seen, it's the moment where everyone realises he ain't the full ticket:
Started watching 7 seconds last night on Flickers. Not sure but seems ok so far, will watch another tonight. Main hoe has incredible gobble lips. Having pasta with burgers for dinner. Can't be arsed putting that on the other thread.
