How is it irrelevant because they aren't both number 9's? It's just a 'who's better' question. People are happy to debate whether Ronaldo is better than Messi etc every day, Messi is a false 9 and Ronnie is a FL, again two different positions. Salah has been better this season, for sure.
This ^^^ The spuds are easily offended, even at a simple comparison like this. But as you say, attacking players in different positions are compared all of the time. Messi / Ronaldo / Bale / Neymar / Suarez / Kane / Salah etc, the list goes on.

Think it's a strange comparison to make given the positions and attributes of each player tbf ... if it's about creative play and going past people with the ball then Salah wins every day ... if it's about public speaking or human sprinkler system effect ... then obviously Harry ...
Anyone can make an observation, if it's valid it's valid. Poch has achieved more in football than anyone who posts on here, yet the Sky4 fanboys think they know better and Poch can't comment on the FA Cup but they can
They can only be compared on this season(so far)because this is the first season they've played in the same league. Salah makes goals as well as scoring them, more of a team player than an out and striker, more goals and more assists, more skillful goals and a more entertaining player than Kane.
... in terms of 'player of the season' then I'd be having Salah and KDB over Harry ... based primarily on the 'difference; they have made to their respective clubs this season ... as to 'who is best' of the 3? ... that would be highly subjective ...

It's all about entertainment now is it and not achievements? That makes Spurs the second best team to City according to the majority of the footballing world. Pool are a close 3rd but their piss poor midfield and defense let them down, good team nevertheless
