just want to put these stats out there.

lfc record league goals in one season is roger hunt 1961/62 in second division. 41 goals. total in seadon was 42 from 46 games.

lfc total record in one seadon is ian rush 1983/84 with 47 goals in 65 games.

mo salah is on 36 goals from 40 games with 28 in league.

12 more goals from 7 league games and min 2 cl games need to break a record.

he needs 14 league goals for the overall league goal record.

stuff of legends this.

I think the record he could beat is the most goals in a 38 game season.
Currently tied by Shearer, Ronaldo and Suarez at 31 goals.

Salah is on 28, so only needs 4 to beat the record.

 

Salah can convinently score five more goals this season taking his tally to 33 in the league.

I did the maths. If he continues on averaging what he has the rest of the season he will end up with 34.

Problem is there are at least two more Champions League games left so he may get rested and once top 4 is cemented there might not be as much of a drive in league anyway.
