If it was out of the sire rather than the dam it would have won too.

It seems the British weather is having its fun once more, any Captain Rio's running through the puddles today?

For those that are interested, Mark Johnston has just tweeted that his G3 winner NAMIBIAN colicked this morning and has been admitted to Newmarket Equine Hospital. He is undergoing an operation as we speak. Fingers crossed for all connections that he pulls through.

    Dirty Darlo...born & bred! ha

Taking a load of work colleagues, many for their first time, to the races tomorrow. Redcars hardly awe inspiring at the best of times (thick black plumes of smoke in the foreground). So for it to be pummeling down with rain would probably just about make it the first and only time they go racing...great!

    Hello lads.

Well done Oddy,Topper and ROTO and anyone else who had success today.

I had info for Colonel Mak from co-owner PM..again!!...Unfortunately I've been stuck in a a mind numbing skills workshop all afternoon and didn't get a chance to post it.

Plenty to choose from thos evening but this winter ground in late summer is making everything look trappy...time to look for some mudlarks and crack open a few beers..

    GL all.

A mind numbing skills workshop? Is that like having to listen to RV for half an hour?

Would think you would be doing the ratings or something

"well this one should turn the form as it was beaten 2 lengths and is now 1lb better off, however if we take the draw in to consideration" YAWWWNNNN RV is asleep

    Picture the scene chez Oddy:

    30°C outside
Ice cold bottle of Becks next to me - so cold the condensation is running down the side
Just having a look at the 4.50 Ffos Las - cracking race
    The working week is finished

It doesn't get much better than this ....................
