Anyone know if Davy and the Leprechaun are alive? Thought Davy had six nations make up on at 1.30 and then realised he was just green from his liquid breakfast In all seriousness, the Leprechaun (big / little Davy) was a top lad. Next time he can take Chippy to the pub instead of the footie then we will all leave happy
Don't let him wind you up Marcos...nobody was ignoring anyone as I'm sure you know. Credit where credit is due though as he never misses the chance to throw a bit of bait into the water which at least keeps things mildly amusing. Unfortunately the possibility of having a box at York races is another Chippy red herring...well unless we are prepared to pay for one that is. Can fix up a couple of freebie tickets though if you ever fancy giving it a whirl.
You name the day and he and I will be there. He will get a train up to York so he don’t need a driver. None of this grandstand rubbish we will come suited and booted for the county stand/Melrose lounge.
Well it was first come first served and Marcos PM'd me about 30 seconds ago so maybe next year for you ! Only joking...let me know which date you fancy going and I'll sort something out.
I was pulling your leg, but if ur serious and he fancies it I will make sure I am about, not looked at fixtures but only weeks I deffo can’t to are the last two in May. I would get the ale in...
Ps Marcos didn't really PM me so I've no idea if he is up for it or not but hopefully we get a big fat YEEEEESSS
Lunch at the Cross Keys, couple of pints, couple more in Yeatses, put the lad on the bus, McDonalds now, might go for a pint. What time's my plane again? Great to see the stalwarts again, and meet Lee the ice skater, Jammy and Ell for the first time.
Fairly sure a man from near enough Newmarket will be. He might have get his arse in gear and get us some tips. @Marcos Barber
Great to meet you too Davy. I managed to flag down a cab outside the Palace about 11ish and the driver said most of the cabbies had gone home. Lucky to get him I guess and it was thick with snow on the motorway so crawled all the way home...just like you I bet ! Safe trip home mate.
