Bristol City are again without suspended defenders Aden Flint and Joe Bryan for Saturday's visit of Mick McCarthy's Ipswich Town. Centre-back Nathan Baker (groin) is being monitored, while striker Milan Djuric is closer to full fitness. Ipswich are without striker Joe Garner, who will miss the rest of the season with a minor skull fracture. Mustapha Carayol (groin) and Dominic Iorfa (thigh) are also sidelined, but Cole Skuse (hamstring) should return. SAM's prediction Home win 59% Draw 24% Away win 17% . Bristol City striker Milan Djuric told BBC Radio Bristol: "After a long injury, I worked hard over the past few months. I'm not ready for 90 minutes yet, but I hope to help the team. "It is hard for us because we had so many injuries but it isn't easy for any team in the Championship. "The Championship is really difficult but we need to stay strong for these nine games to get back in to the top six." Match facts The Robins have won their last three home league games against Ipswich, since losing 3-0 on the opening day of the 2011/12 season. Ipswich haven't lost both league matches in a season against Bristol City since the 1978/79 campaign. 41 of Bristol City's league goals have been scored by Englishmen, more than any other Championship club - Ipswich are third on that list (32 goals), behind Sheffield United (37). In 2018, Ipswich have won just five points in home matches compared with 11 points away from home (P6 W3 D2 L1). The Robins have conceded the most own goals in the Championship this season (4), with four different players scoring one (Magnusson, Flint, Brownhill and Pack). The Tractor Boys haven't conceded a single goal in any of their last four Championship matches played on Saturdays. WE BETTER PUT THAT RIGHT!!!!!!
We SHOULD win this - Ipswich have very little to play for other than ending the season above Norwich. However, we SHOULD have won against Bolton, Sunderland, Burton, Leeds, Wolves etc etc.

No video again today but just the audio commentary bored me to death. It's starting to sound like most of our games in 2018 and if only etc etc it might have been so different. I now expect us to hunker down and run out the season with no hope of a playoff spot (someone please come back at me when we go up) and expect us to continue in this way ad infinitum. It's just who and what we are folks.
That today guys was garbage, yes 3 points were gained fantastic. However that was as bad as it gets, chatting to fans that went to Burton before the game, they said that was the worst they have seen city play this season. All this possession football in your own half making 4/5/6 passess and keeping it in your own half does nothing other than stop the opposition getting the ball. So bloody frustrating, why not 4/5/6 decisive passes and putting in in the oppositions goal. Glad to get home, freezing cold, and nothing to get excited about.
The opposition were playing 3-5-2 in possession which moved to 4-6-0 at times out of possession. Its hard to make decisive passes through that. The possession football has seen a recent win v Wednesday and now Ipswich. Recent games with less possession defeat at Preston and Cardiff and a 0-0 v Burton.
Did not travel to the game yesterday due to the weather down south - sometimes it's more about the result - this was a big 3 points for us
We look good from the highlights - no sign of hoofballl in these: http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/11294469/bristol-city-1-0-ipswich
People might not like what I'm saying, I couldn't care less about style and how we played Yesterday, we earned 3 points and won, a victory, well done LJ and the team. Back to 7th place and in the play off race by right.
I agree Wiz, sometimes it's about grinding out results.....builds up confidence and belief in the players....style is a bonus at this part of the season.
With players coming back from suspension and injury I think we have a great shout at the Play Offs and for the only time in my life I'll say I'm glad of an International break. The tide might well be turning for us as other clubs above City struggle, I hope Cardiff win this lunchtime as well. I thought when we lost Joe Bryan and Flint to suspension the writing was on the wall but it's turned out to be a blessing with a chance given to Kelly and hasn't he taken the chance with both hands. Another youngster, Vyner, seems to be pulling up trees at Plymouth, it's fantastic these lads are coming through from our Academy. Yesterday might have been ugly but 3 points is what the game is about, especially at this time of the season.
