What’s even worse is the fact we paid £500k for him when teams like Boro grab managers like Pulis who was without a club.
I heard he was a talented up & coming manager, talented at what managing a burger van or something? christ those statistics above are scary, does anyone know of a football league manager with worse? i for one would be interested if someone could answer this.
In order of importance, you need - an owner who spends on players - good decisions on who you buy - good coaching and tactics Rad spent a net £4m on players this season it’s not enough to match other teams financially A few Orta signings are ok but the bulk are dross PH seems less capable than TC
Good Morning from a snowy Bardsey Well apart from a terrible result I hope you had an enjoyable reunion yesterday I was only sorry to miss it Well what have we learned from yesterday Ekuban is hopeless Pennington gets far too much money £875k a year and infact is too easily out muscled I remember in the away fixture Fletcher who is not renowned for scoring goals when he heard he was against Pennington said you can back me to score today and he completely dominated him So send him back to Everton please we don't want another Sacko on our hands We may as well keep PH for the rest of the season and then see who is available I like the look of Graham Potter who has got a Swedish side from the 4 tier to Europa league and indeed beat Arsenal at the emirates
Harry Potter is just another managing to look good in a **** league. Ffs lets appoint the next decent British manager with experience of succeeeding at this level that becomes available or pay a few quid to get big mick or Pearson in. Sack Orta and back the manager. Failing that boycott the club till this chancer Rad ****s off. Seen enough my gut feeling was accurate...
I have alwaya tried to be upbeat and support the club players and management, but how the hell have we come to this
Rad has done more for us than Cellino, Bates and GFH put together and although arguable if enough, he has put money back into several signings costing over £1m and even a couple around £4m and that hasn’t happened for a long long time. I’m on his side still but come the end of the season, if he is dumb enough to continue with Orta and his DOF crap then he’ll lose me. I won’t be calling for him to go, I just won’t see him as the man capable of getting us into the PL, I’ll see him as an average owner who took us off the wayward course. Yes he owns the ground but no rent charge and when it’s time to sell at least it’s all more transparent and the ground would go with any sale. I’ve said it before, Rads is our stepping stone, clear out the ghosts, get the infrastructure in place, rid us of negative press and publicity, make us an attractive purchase to someone with the funds to take it to the next level.
We will have agree to disagree. Leeched far more than he has spent and docs form table shows the only thing that’s important. If he stays he will relegate us...
Well put Rick my sentiments entirely. He has put stability in by buying the ground back as promised and invested in youth so we have a futurenow we need to get some about 4 or 5 class [players for the next campaign
Harry Potter as you call him is a very well respected coach .I thought he would appeal to you as he is English and has done absolute wonders with his team in 4 years .A lot of English clubs are interested in acquiring his services but on second thoughts you are so staid in your ways you will opt for PEARSON or Macartney bothy have done nothing to date Pearson lasted about 6 months at Derby where he did is usual rant and got sacked is that what you want or Maccartney playing unattractive football .NO THANK YOU!
PH has now had 8 games to sort things out but with 4 losses, 1 win & 3 draws and a huge points tally of SIX is a bit embarrasing. If we repeat this form for the remaining 8 games we will see our lowest league position for a dozen years, but as things stand I cannot see us doing that so expecting an abysmal end to the season with the last 16 games being a catastrophy.
