Friendly game against Royal Antwerp on Sunday (11am UK time) at a neutral venue, namely Pinatar Arena (capacity 3500) near La Manga, Spain. Bizarrely, there will be 3 halves of 45 minutes, presumably to give everyone a run out but not overwork them. No media coverage whatsoever as far as I know so I'll be paying no attention at all and couldn't give a toss about the result. Will probably go for a hike somewhere unless the weather sucks. I'm going for a 8-3 win for the lads, what with all the extra minutes being played.
Are we so good we get another half just to give others a fighting chance? If that's how it works it would explain what's been going on at the SoL this season.
I'm pretty sure there was a mix up between european and british time zones and everyone was just too proud to admit to it. "You sure about these times? It would mean three hours of playing"... "What the **** you talking about, oh erm yeah that's right that's the plan"
Elliot and Darlow must be really out of favour now if they've not even made the bench. Fair play to giving the young lad a chance, I'd hope he gets on for the final 45. Can see both Elliot and Darlow being off this summer if we keep Dubs
