I am somewhat put out. Tonight I am going to a gig. This morning I promised my daughters a trip to an ice cream parlour. My Mrs very kindly suggested (with minimum hinting from me) that I simply stay out in town after the aforementioned ice cream and get torn into a few beers whilst watching the match and then just stay out for the gig. I couldn't find a single pub showing the match so I went back home and asked my local if they'd put it on for me. I think we all know how this tale has finished. What a cock.
Alarm set, car full of petrol, 5 million jumpers on the side, gloves, scarf and snood all packed. Think I'm ready for tomorrow.
I've nothing like that sort of preparation. Know where my tickets are and just bought some cans and cigarettes for the journey, that's about the extent of it for the moment Up the ****ing Saints
He was the player I was most concerned about. He pulls the strings for them so very pleased he's out.
quick question. Chelsea, Utd, Tottenham and us make the last 4. Chelsea, Utd, and Tottenham finish the league in Euro positions. We lose in the next round, do we still get the Euro spot as Chelsea, Utd, and Tottenham has already qualified
He is their key player, however he is also a defensive liability and does his own thing on the pitch.... they may be just that little bit tighter without him. Overall, I think he’s best out.
How we got into Europe in 2015 when we finished 7th. Infact I think that we were the first team to benefit as that was the first season of the rule change, pretty sure Hull were the last side to qualify as losing finalists in 2014. We'll just have to win it
@fatletiss just been looking at that corkhills (?) that you recommended for parking, just a couple of questions: Do they definitely do matchday parking and as a longshot do you know roughly the cost? Obviously don't expect you to know exactly but is it safe to say that it won't be something ridiculous like over a tenner? Also after a (brief admittedly) look at maps it seems to me that it's around roughly halfway between stadium and town centre, is that about right?
Looked on their website and they have matchday parking for a fiver. Edit: That's the official parking provided by Wigan.
Yeah that's on a first come first served basis though isn't it? Also dunno if I'd rather be closer to centre for less busy pubs and less traffic too.
