Oh dear, Quents! <doh> ... not a hint of lube from Tobes the nasty, nasty man ... an absolute ravaging <yikes> .. and to think, Quentin spent all that time and effort on his "dissertation" ... only to have to shuffle off stage with his pants around his ankles and the audience cries of "liar, liar, pants on fire" ringing in his ears ...<laugh> ... well I guess that finally puts to bed the discussion on whether @Hoddle Is A God brings things on himself ... the Minister For Magic is going to be sadly disappointed <whistle>

It is long since we had any hope. The sword of Elendil, if it returns indeed, may rekindle it, but I do no think that it will do more than put off the evil day, unless other help-unlooked for also comes, from elves or men. For the Enemy increases and we decrease. We are a failing people, a springless autumn

In the meantime, and over the intervening years, we’ve seen a clutch of some real nasty characters latching onto our spat. You’ve encouraged it, of course, because these knuckleheads are fighting your corner for you. For some of them, I clearly represent some failure or sexual dysfunction in their lives, because the vitriol with which they have met my obvious banter has bordered on the obsessive and psychotic.

It is this nasty element, encouraged by you and idiots like Bambi and Stan, that has led us to where we are now.

I have been in fairly close contact with Sky, and I have encouraged him to post, yet he remains adamant that he has lost all interest in this forum, for reasons that others have already accurately described. I am aware that quite a few of the lads have formed a social media group - Twitter, Watsap, or whatever - which I have been invited to join. My work commitments haven’t permitted me the time to look into that, just yet, but I will get round to it.

I’m sure that there will be a strong core of us who will continue to keep in touch, regardless of what happens here, and that may well be the reason why Sky isn’t fussed about coming back, and why Libby isn’t fussed about posting on this board.

You can cut it anyway you want, Pix, and justify it in whatever way makes you feel good about yourself, but you are part of the reason that Sky won’t post. I’m not saying that you are the only reason, or even the major reason, but you are a part of it.

Is his rant the beginning of the end for Jose ?

I seem to remember him doing similar when at Chelsea and didn’t see the season out.

Perhaps the United job is beyond him and he knows he can’t compete with Pep as he can’t outspend City, so has started the exit process

Since the Arabs took over at City United will never be able to outspend them again and City thus will always attract the worlds best players. Northern powershift!

If we’re not genuine title contenders around January/February next season he’ll get the bullet.

Shame! <laugh>

He's been in the job for a couple of seasons now, won some trophies and probably fancies a move and some more money.
Off to PSG in the summer, where he's guaranteed a league title in yet another country and can spend what he likes?
Wouldn't surprise me.
