to give him a chance to shut the boos up I would guess plus Dele ALWAYS wants to play and it is probably something he wants to encourage and because Dele can keep possession so well do it lessens the risk of a wobbly last 10 mins

It is true, he is a consummate wumster, despite his youth.

I see a Narrative being shut down already...

JS: You can't have people saying it would be a home advantage for Spurs! Six months ago people were talking about the Wembley curse - at least be consistent!

Yousef Doubooni: I love how opposing fans & journalists used terms like ‘hoodoo’ & ‘it is going to be a difficult season for Spurs’ when we moved into Wembley. Now it is apparently an advantage!

  7. I've hardly posted on the Prem board, and the usual crew are obsessing all the more! Someone started a post about Sky and Libby, and it ended up turning itself to me!

    Unbelievable!

Never has a meme been so true...

3-0 FT. Absolutely dominant performance against a weakened Swansea side.
Very positive signs for the period which we'll be missing Kane.
Eriksen was excellent, but Sissoko, Lamela and Moura were all superb, too.

    Superb display today.

Eriksen ran the show like a boss. Special mentions for Vorm who was solid as a rock and Sissoko who was a beast. Looks like Poch and the coaching staff might just be finding the player we signed from the Geordies.

Now hoping for a good draw at home :emoticon-0105-wink:

Dare i say it but Sissoko has been pretty good today. Probably his best game in a Spurs shirt.

Very easy win. Home advantage in the Semi and final (if we get there). No man City, its imperative we win the FA cup this year.

Right... who are we gonna get in the semi’s then?

I’ll be amazed if it’s not Chelsea.

    It’s no surprise.

Prem board’s been dead since the recent incidents, mate. I’ve barely posted on it either.

A shame as it used to be a laugh.

Already called it.....Chelsea if they get through as per usual <doh>

Sissoko was great today...Beast mode from him and they didn't like it. Vorm with a superb double save early on to weather the storm

The lads did themselves justice once again <applause>

  18. A point seems to have been made, that we have greater depth to our squad than the so-called "pro" pundits give us credit for.

Also, I'm hoping that some of these performances today give Poch a better idea for Plans B and C, when he needs to switch things around during games. One of my main criticisms of him has been that, as superbly as he has the team playing, he has been entirely predictable, and that has enabled the better sides to plan their game against us.

    Eriksen unplayable.

    Sissoko beastly.

    Lamela silky.

    Moura lively.

    Kane clinical.

    Wait, something’s wrong there.

A nice balance of rotation today, I thought.

in - Vorm, Sissoko, Dier and Moura, plus Trippier for Aurier.

Some players rested and it still looked like a well drilled unit. Classy.
