Surely they have to focus all attention on that tie. That's makes it good in my eyes. Had they been knocked out, the league would be an absolute, just to keep the wolves from the door.
Yeah I agree but that would’ve been the same no matter who they drew. Being at home first leg means they could quite easily have a healthy lead and no travel which are both bad news for us
They could, but I wouldn't say "equally". They will be heavy favourites at home against CSKA, if they lose the first leg it would be a massive surprise. It is good that we are playing them in between the 2 QF games, but I just think that was one of the worst draws we could've got.
I'm fine with Arsenal being at home first. They play Stoke the Sunday before, so not needing to travel should ensure that they still put out a strong team against Stoke. Yes it would be nice if they had to travel in the days leading up to our game, but we're not the only side in this equation. At the end of the day, we've struck lucky playing them in between the two legs (of the only competition that matters to them). That's enough to make me happy.
