Give the guy a break, he probably had to ask one of his mates to give him a lift to the restaurant in the first place. #nolicence
Woooohahaha. .. Retro 1879 Ireland Rugby shirt arrived... (lost my previous retro shirt)... because I mean unless you're built like a ****house the actual shirt just looks silly. Going to Downpatrick tomorrow small bar crawl then watch the Rugby in a pub selling Guinness for 2.50 a pint during the match.. ..Liverpool match straight after....loads of people around as it's the St Paddys parade ..... It's going to be a good one!
My niece's husband is in the Basketball squad for the Commonwealth Games, Andy Thompson. He plays for Leicester Riders, was captain of Newcastle Eagles when they swept the board of UK trophies. He is coming to the end of his career now so its a nice way to finish it off.
The whole season's been live on BT Sport Tomorrow Timberwolves / Spurs 00:30 then Celtics / Pelicans 22:00
tbh I've not watched that much with family stuff going on but when I have it's been all American commentary, similarly with the NCAA
It came with our Virgin topbox when it was updated a few months back and just stumbled on it while looking through the channels. It's meant we've been able to watch a few Liverpool games as well which we watch with no sound due to the irritating commentary. The cameras also seem to be on the crowd a lot when something significant has just happened on the pitch
The standard of commentary is poor across the board these days, imo. There's just too much talk between the co-presenters, and statistical stuff I don't want to hear - not to mention all the in-game promotional stuff for their other events. All I want is a name check on the players, a basic response to the action and some ambient crowd noise for the atmosphere. Half the time they miss stuff through waffling on, and as you say, they spend far too much time on some "face" in the crowd (though that's the fault of the director, not the commentator). As A BT phone customer, I used to have the sports channel. It was free to begin with, then they slipped in a fee without clearly flagging it so I complained and ditched them. Their stream was crap. It kept lagging and then jumping ahead by 10-20 seconds (or even backing up for some strange reason). When I complained they did the usual thing of blaming your system. And they had Michael Owen.
i agree. their system has absolutely no buffer and compared to sky with a 30second buffer and about a min delay was awful. my mate dropped it and i kept sky. 90% of the reason is sky go.
I pay £43 and have everything, movies, box sets, HD, full sports etc. 18 month deal with agreement that I can extend by a further 18 months if I contact them in month 17. I was paying £80.
thats pretty good. not sure exactly how you got it or if it was a particular time where a particular offer is on. ive got sky sport and movie all out so i pay my parents sky so give them the sports and use sky go. no offer. no call from sky this time.
I just rang them and said I was leaving for BT and was nice about it.....they pass you through 3 or 4 call handlers as you continue to say no, until you end up with the one who has the authority to offer the max discounts.
i tried that on and they were meh. i got movies for a fiver but they were insistant i sign up parents for all 3 services to actually get anything and thry wont change phone and think a broadband is a thick ribbon round a hat.
