    Good Morning Everyone

    The Wendies are in town.

But so are Not606ers led by their fearless leader Shaks.

Is this game more about personal pride than anything else?

Is Heckingbottoms future on the line is results do not start to go his way, or his his future safe until next season?

Is now the team to bring in more under 23's to see what they can bring to the table? Peacock Farrell has not done too badly.

What does the future hold for Saiz and Jansson?

Enjoy the day all. I would have been there for this one except nephew is getting married Friday and a big bash lined up in Trim Castle Hotel. Had considered getting bus at 3.30am to airport but decided it would be a health risk. So enjoy the day and night. Re Saiz and Jansson. I think the next four months till July will decide their fate. Firstly results and atmosphere till then will play a part but more significantly, Im sure theyll be keeping a very close eye on the summer recruitment. Itll need to be quality to keep them happy

I’m very envious. Due to difficult personal circumstances I’m afraid I’m not able to justify a day and night out on the piss to watch football, which is why I go to away games nearer to home.

Hope you have a good one. If drinks funds run short you can have that tenner Glory owes me to help out (he’ll say he’s forgotten, with all the credibility of a Russian ambassador denying knowledge of nerve gas attacks).

Highly unlikely our three class players Saiz, Jansson & Hernandez will be at ER next season

Should be even more grim watching Leeds. I fear for us next season if Radz & co get it wrong again in the summer

I think we can win this one, I am not sure if that is head or heart speaking. TC got the sack for not looking like he was going to get us into the top 6 now I am wondering if we are going to make it into the top half the table.

In regards to team selection, it depends on what has been said to PH - Have the board given up on top 6 (if they haven't they are delusional) and have they told PH to use the remainder of this season in perperation for next? Yes I'd like to see some of the U23's given a run out BUT is PH fearful of results and does he still need to pick the best available?

I really think 3-1 to Leeds.

(Winston Churchill described it as Britains finest hour, and it was powered by the mighty Merlin engine built at Crewe )

Without this our matchday squad would be full of Germans <yikes>.Phew on topic surely <laugh>

Be nice if we win, I think we might edge it by a goal, it’s more about seeing if PH is getting to grips with who is worth keeping and how the players react

We need to end the season strongly, buy well and early in the summer, to try to head off the few really good players we have from leaving. Otherwise disaster looms.

Good afternoon everyone, took me a while to find the match day thread. Possibly due to lack of posts.
This is surely a must win game for PH. I have been kind to him since he joined us but now is the time for him to show his leadership qualities.
Problem is if we have a good performance and a strong finish to the season will Radz believe Orta that all his (Orta's ) signings just needed time. In which case don't expect much during the close season from Radz.
As Fans/Supporters we are between the devil and the deep blue. IMO

Think we will see Cibicki and also Pearce. Think it will be obvious tomoz what PH thinks about some players as they will not even be on the bench

Im also hoping we see progress from PH because every game that goes by with the team doing the same mistakes, playing the same crap, playing to the same losing tactics, not able to defend etc, the fans are begining to lose patience with him

They"ve also had the owner go public this week about players needing to put a shift in. If they don't tomorrow it's essentially a 2 finger salute to Radz and bye bye close season. So the game is probably a cross roads period for the club and our season ahead.

Never liked the idea of an owner digging out the players, that is the job solely of the manager (head coach). They could just down tools and on long contracts, refuse to move on. As for PH, he's trying all our players, not sure why he is being criticised for that. If he walks in says everyone has a 'clean slate' and doesn't then he loses the players. And how many on here have had a go at previous coaches for only playing their 'favourites'??

With you there, Doc. So far, I'm a little more disappointed in Eck than perhaps I ever was with TC. Eck seems to be good at criticising, threatening careers & being a moribund barsteward. I haven't seen any dramatic changes - same players, same formations, same performances. Or perhaps I'm expecting too much. I wonder where we'd be if TC was still here. Hmmm.

One change that seems to be working is Bailey Double-Barrell. But haven't all our 'keepers started well? It's when the disappointments mount up you see the real character of a 'keeper. Glad he's getting a chance though. Seems to be best of a bad bunch atm, but I'm still not convinced.

Pearce is overdue for an appearance. I'm pretty confident that once he gets in, there will be no moving him out. He has little if any competition. The assumption is that it'll be at LB, but it won't be the first person who's commented that he could be the new Madeley. Fingers crossed on that one!

Cibicki has got to get his chance to impress too, so it's just a matter of time, surely? Hope Eck appreciates that he'd completed a full season before he joined us. We should assess him next season IMO.

Q: Will Anita ever get tried out as a DM?

Team for tomorrow? Suspect we'll be using the same formation. Let's have a stab at it.....

    ...................Double-Barrell
    Berardi...Pennington...Jansson...Pearce
...................Forshaw...Phillips (but could be any of O'Kane, Phillips, Vieira, or Anita)
    ...........Alioski...Saiz...Hernandez
    ..........................Soggy

Bench: Weidwald, Anita, 2x Vieiras, Cibicki, Ekuban

Have to say I'm not keen on the sub's bench. And it was me that picked it! <yikes>

Wouldn’t mind seeing Cibicki start up front as the striker, nothing to lose, Ekuban isn’t scoring and Lasogga is only on loan and I still feel we need better than Lasogga.

Can't see us losing today folks. The Wendies are in all sorts of problems both on and off the pitch. Either 2-0 Leeds or a 0-0 draw
