    Fantastic performance by Native River. We all thought it was an open race and turns out it was a 2 horse race. Fair play Oddy you've always had time for this one.

    It was unreal what he did last season Chan and they got it spot on with his programme this time round. Superb stuff from horse, jockey and trainer. He was relentless and never touched a twig. Undoubtedly the ground helped but Might Bite was tanking all the way but didn't stay as well on the ground.

    The result on their website confirms that ..................... mind you it was a dead heat for 5th so I guess half stake ................ probably only pennies

    Again, thanks to FloridasPearl for the weather update early on. Could not miss Native River after that info. Had a slightly bigger than normal single as a result, so actually finished a few euro up at the Festival (just 3 bets in all plus a very small r/f). So, all systems go for the Indian on Sunday; booking 'our' table in about 20-minutes time! <ok>

    The jockey dislocated her elbow at the last fence, which is why she didn’t move much. Unbelievable the horse still won

    Spent the whole of the Gold Cup and next hour on the phone to the ****ing bank after they suspended my account when trying to get something on the Tizzard horse.

    Apparently they're sorry, it's been reactivated and "I should be able to complete the transaction now if I give it another try". Great. Wonder if I'll still get 5/1?

    Only Flawless Escape can save me now. I'll at least recoup something if Carter McKay or the Pipe horse snatch it.

    That was fun but thats me out. Hope some of you fared better than me!
