serious question (for once from me) I'm reading reports that Bellamy could be on his way back to Anfield, what are your thoughts? is he wanted/needed? is it a step back when all jokes aside you are gathering momentum in the right direction?
Same could have been said for you and Owen when you had Macheda and Welbeck. If he scores those few goals that help tip the top four/cup final/league title ( exaggerating a bit there). We need to be good now, so we can't have only promising youngsters through our ranks, we have to have some experience in there to push our way back into the top four.
I for one hope that Bellamy stays away from our club. The guy is ****ing joke, even in the championship he didn't really stand out, other than the odd goal. It'll just be more deadwood that needs clearing out, we don't need to sign 32 year olds.
That's because he was usually doubled up on by opposing teams, and he still managed 20+ goals/assists for Cardiff.
I would rather a Rodallega, heck get interest back in Toivonen, but this player will need to know he is there to be a spark from the bench, that is the most difficult part.
Whenever i watched Cardiff play he looked very average and doesn't seem like he would be a good impact player. He is 32 and i don't see why we're showing interest, even when at his best i didn't really rate him.
He'd be offered a one year contract, with the option of an extra year from what I understand. If it doesn't work out, he'll leave. There'll be no prolonged saga like with Joe Cole.
