    D: !

I think this thread teaches us that if you ever wanna get anywhere with Bet365, Robin W is a ****, but Paul W is a legend. Just tickle his balls a bit and he'll open up, in a metaphorical sense of course.

Haha awesome Chappaz. Reckon i should try it with paddypower? I bet on Newcastle to win. It didn't mention anywhere (i don't think and will check) that it was only for 90 minutes.

I once complained at a restuarant est est ets on the quayside (mebs not there anymore) that the meal which would have cost £75 for me and my wife was the worst I had ever had (and it was awful) and that if I served that trash at my London restuarant (I dont have one, Im an accountant) I would be embarressed. Needless to say they gave me the meal for free and a courteous shot of Remy Martin (expensive brandy).

I didnt accept this and said I would pay a fair price for the food I enjoyed (Im not a conman just wanted what was fair) and paid £35 quid. They accepted and we parted ways.

The moral is if your not happy with something you muct complain.

Being an ex-chef; I can certainly state that most chefs will not be offended if a customer sends something back with a valid reason. I always stated to my chefs that if I wouldn't eat a substandard meal due to a lack of attention and care devoted to it; I don't expect my customers to either.

The stories of chefs routinely spitting on returned food etc is a myth. The vast majority of time we'll recook the meal from scratch, offer a drink on the house and knock money off the bill for our error.

One twat did get it in the neck though when he expected me to cook him a rare steak... without blood.

The waitress walked into the kitchen and told me not to shout at her because she knew it was impossible but could I at least talk to the customer as he'd been in several times over a period of 3 months and hadn't yet had a meal he deemed suitable so was basically being invited back by the managers to eat for free until he was sated.

I changed out of my dirty whites into clean whites and walked into the restaurant.

The chap looked at me with a wry smile when I asked him to confirm his order.
I then asked if he's ever had a steak like that before and he confirmed he had.
I told him to **** off back there then.

Good story. I'm personally not the complainer type usually. Life is too short. If I order a rare steak and it comes back medium, I don't really care, whereas some people would kick up a right fuss.

I was pissed off here though because I put down a 2-1 CORRECT SCORE bet, and the CORRECT SCORE was 2-1, but they still faffed around with some daft pointless rule. The full 90 mins and extra time are not two individual matches, so I can't see how they can justify it.

Robin W basically did. Well, he/she just fobbed me off to someone else.

PS: Might be why you're struggling to find a job there HMT.

Well done for winning but that is ridiculous. They are essentially giving into someone who lost just because they didn't know the rules! haha

I usually wouldn't bother if I just didn't understand the rules. However, I was just arguing on the two principles:

1). The rule doesn't make ANY sense

2). The section says 'CORRECT SCORE', and I got the correct score. Their rules say one thing, but the actual betting page says something else, so it's very misleading.

I even got a metro fine revoked once when I was younger. I was 16 and I bought a child's ticket, but apparently I had to buy an adult one. I looked on the ticket machine and it said 'children's tickets 12-16 years old'. I argued that it didn't clearly say whether it meant inbetween those ages, i.e. 13-15, or inbetween those ages including the two ages mentioned. I argued that the ticket machine information was erroneous and misleading, and I got the fine dropped.
