It's a don't lose game rather than a must win.

I think we'd have taken a point at Ipswich but look what happened. Don't need to go gung-ho but not too cautious either.

I've always been critical of the overrated Meyler.

makes you wonder how Adkins will approach the game - he rested Hernandez Mazuch and Total - maybe he wasn't expecting to win but realised Birmingham was the more important of the two - 3 points against Ipswich was probably unexpected in his thinking so would that change his approach - before Ipswich, Birmingham could be considered as must win - now I suggest it's mustn't lose - I'm not sure we're good enough to shut up shop though because there's always a mistske about to happen at the back so I think we have to go for the win so hopefully Adkins picks a team on that basis - there's no doubt Brucie would be playing for the point in the same circumstances

With our new front 3 picking themselves, Wilson, Hernandez & Bowen looking absolutely lethal.. Id really like to see Toral behind the front 3.

Worst thing to do is go and play for a draw, best form of defence is attack, we're playing with a bit of confidence and rhythm, no need to go gung-ho, but play our own game and take no prisoners.

It’d be completely bonkers to drop Irvine for Toral.

Just going to put the same. Irvine is the glue that's holding this system together. His work rate is unbelievable

I think people saying "he's not a footballer" and other general assumptions about his ability was who I was referring to. Saying he's got no talent and other similar bollocks was who I was addressing. The same people who clearly can't tell the difference between somebody out of form and somebody playing out of their depth.

Yes. A lot of people on the Facebook forum said just that. Along with pictures of donkeys etc. The kind of thing that makes you facepalm so hard you give yourself a blood clot.

A few on here said he wasn’t a footballer.

He was still getting slagged off by many after he’d started playing well.

He's only been back three games hasn't he and we got dry bummed in one of them.

I hope he's the new Ashbee and huddlestone rolled into one but let's not get carried away about how great he's doing.

Brum might not be too much of a threat, hopefully, but let's see how they all do against the rest.

If I had to pick two centre midfielders out of the three, it would be Irvine and Larsson.
